New Yahoo! Messenger module available on My Yahoo! Beta
The My Yahoo! team has rolled out a new module for the beta My! Yahoo page. This incorporation resembles the new web messenger that was released a few months ago. Glad to see yahoo is rolling out this technology across the board. If you have not yet signed up for a My Yahoo! Beta account you can do so by clicking on this link.
I was unable to upgrade my account and got a generic Yahoo! Error 999. I will try again later.
If you already have the upgraded account you can click this link to add the new module to your home page.
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I am using the Yahoo Messenger Module on My Yahoo.
It is good as people are able to use messenger in scenarios they are not able to use messenger because of firewall restrictions. But there are several problems faced on it:
1.
It drops several messages while chatting. All messages sent from the other side are not received.
2.
Today, I am not able to sign-in. Neither getting any message nor could find out anything from web.
I have a couple of suggestions for the same.
1.
Good, if we can choose to see on-line contacts only. It currently shows all contacts.
2.
In web messenger integrated with new Mail, we can see the contact details saved by us. But not here.
3.
If yahoo chat rooms can also be accessed from My Yahoo, it will be gr8
