Do you use an external e-mail account? Do you have it setup in Yahoo! Mail to receive your external mail? I am sure you have noticed that there has been a few issues regarding this feature of Yahoo! Mail. A quick stop over at the Yahoo! Mail blog gives us a little more insight as to what is going on. Here is the original post from their blog.

As many of you are probably aware, users are still running into problems retrieving email from their external accounts. Our teams have been reviewing your submissions and analyzing the situation, however the top priority is restoring the original functionality you had.

At this time the plan is to roll back the recent changes to the external retrieval feature. The rollback has already started, and should take a few days to reach everyone. What this means is that your ability to retrieve from these accounts should be completely restored, however it also means that we will be rolling back the recently added option to use SSL. If you have added an account that requires SSL, retrieval from that account will no longer be possible.

Once the original functionality is restored, our teams will be re-examining the causes and will work on resolving them before attempting to rollout the changes again.
